Cookies & similar technologies

This policy describes how Quiphraldhar uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies on quiphraldhar.ddd. It complements our privacy policy and explains what each category does, how long data may persist, and how you can update your choices.

What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They can be “session” cookies, which expire when you close the browser, or “persistent” cookies, which remain for a defined period. Similar technologies include pixels, tags, and HTML5 local storage, which can store preference keys or identifiers in your browser.

We distinguish between first-party technologies set by our domain and third-party technologies set by partners we integrate (for example analytics scripts if you consent).

Who sets cookies on this site

Quiphraldhar controls first-party preference storage used to remember your cookie choices. If you enable optional categories, third-party providers may set their own cookies subject to their documentation. We only load such scripts after you consent through our banner or settings panel, except where strictly necessary for operation.

Use the Cookie preferences link in the footer to reopen the consent panel at any time.

Strictly necessary cookies and storage

These technologies are required to deliver the service you explicitly request, for example:

  • Remembering that you have dismissed or saved cookie preferences.
  • Maintaining security tokens or load-balancing where our host applies them.
  • Enabling basic accessibility or language continuity during a session.

Under EU ePrivacy rules, strictly necessary cookies do not require consent. You cannot disable this category without breaking core site functions.

Analytics (optional)

If you enable analytics, we may collect aggregated information such as pages viewed, scroll depth bands, approximate region, device category, and referral source. We use this information to understand which sections are useful and where navigation can be clearer. Analytics identifiers are not used to profile you for unrelated decisions beyond site improvement.

You can withdraw analytics consent at any time; previously collected aggregate statistics may remain in anonymised dashboards.

Marketing (optional)

If you enable marketing cookies, we may measure whether campaigns bring visitors to the site or whether certain messages are more helpful than others. We do not sell your personal data to third parties for their independent marketing lists through these cookies. Marketing cookies are off by default.

Local storage keys

We store a versioned preference object in local storage (for example under a key such as tdde_cookie_prefs_v1) so your choices persist between visits. Clearing browser data removes this object and may cause the consent banner to appear again.

Typical durations

Session cookies expire when you close the browser. Persistent cookies may last from a few days to thirteen months depending on the provider and purpose. Our preference record persists until you clear site data or we change the storage key as part of a policy update.

Browser and device controls

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking all cookies may prevent preference storage and could degrade your experience. Consult your browser’s help pages for instructions on desktop and mobile. Some industry opt-out pages exist for certain advertising networks; availability varies by region.

Updates

We may revise this policy when we add tools or change partners. The date shown in the hero section updates automatically when you load the page and helps you see when you last viewed the current text. Substantive changes will also be summarised on the site where practical.
